Treat Yourself!
I really do encourage everyone not to overly restrict themselves when it comes to what you eat. Overall, maintain a healthy balance, but when you want something, treat yourself. Share it with someone so that you are not over-indulging. Also, be creative! There are tons of dessert treats out there that aren’t overloaded with sugars, fats, etc. Here is one of my favorite treats.
Graham crackers, almond butter, and chocolate-hazelnut spread. This rounds out at about 310 calories (and you could actually reduce yours to a smaller portion size if you wanted to).
Another good option is to replace the hazelnut spread with half of a sliced banana, this would total it around 260 calories.
